German's Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 300° F. Grease and flour 9" tube pan.

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, flavors, and buttermilk.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture. Mix well.
Melt chocolate by setting in oven for a few minutes on a plate. Add to batter and blend well.

Cook for 1½ hours, until skewer comes out clean. Remove to rack and cover with foil until cooled.
